SUMMARY:Robb Henry Trio
DESCRIPTION:Guitarist Robb Henry is perhaps best known for his work with Parisota Hot Club\, a band he formed to explore the gypsy jazz stylings of French guitarist Django Reinhardt in 2001. \nSince early 2010\, he has also been performing a distinctive blend of instrumental music with his self-titled trio featuring the guitarist with bassist Jim Chenoweth and drummer Ben Kaplan. \nLive sets by the RHT are a melting pot of styles steeped in blues\, jazz and ’60’s pop music. Familiar melodies\, unexpected excursions\, and sonic surprises reminiscent of vintage psychedelic Brit-Rock\, all inhabit a fluid\, musical landscape. Retro noire style movie themes\, à la Henry Mancini and others\, selections by Django Reinhardt\, Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles are standard set features.

DESCRIPTION:Release the Craicen was a startup band new to the Irish scene in 2017. They debuted in a pub sing along on St. Patrick’s Day. You can often find them down at the Dubliner Pub in St. Paul. Focusing on a Pogues and Flogging Molly influenced Irish Rock-Folk-Punk style\, classic rock rhythms raise up rousing choruses while fiddle and accordion tunes reminisce days gone by. Between classic pub songs\, modern Paddy Rock covers and an original or two\, Release the Craicen has something for everyone. \nWe enjoy a diverse mix of bands and their unique styles of playing. We combine them into our own style.
