DESCRIPTION:Pete McCauley and Tim Cheesebrow are a duo from the Twin Cities\, bringing old tunes to life and having a great time doing it. \nPete McCauley (vocals\, mandolin\, guitar): Pete has played in numerous bands over the years. A founding member and the original guitarist for the rock trio Eddie Mac\, he spent a few years traveling the country\, earned a record contract with SPV Records in Germany\, and released two albums with the independent label Mud Hut Records. Pete also writes material for the Hounds of Finn. Pete met Tim a few years back and asked if they should learn some pub tunes and make some noise together…the rest\, as they say\, is history. Not the kind of history that would make it into any sort of book\, but since it is in the past\, it technically is…history. \nTim Cheesebrow (guitar\, vocals\, occasional mandolin and pennywhistle): Tim is primarily a singer/songwriter. He’ s got 6 or so albums under his belt\, several tours and an extensive solo performance career. He’s always had a spot in his heart for traditional Irish and American folk songs\, and jumped at a chance to play this music with Pete. He’s the founder of Discover Music\, a non-profit that teaches kids to write songs as a healthy mode of self discovery and expression\, and is the author of “Songwriting for Wellness: Using Music to Heal the Mind.” \nfacebook page

DESCRIPTION:Release the Craicen was a startup band new to the Irish scene in 2017. They debuted in a pub sing along on St. Patrick’s Day. You can often find them down at the Dubliner Pub in St. Paul. Focusing on a Pogues and Flogging Molly influenced Irish Rock-Folk-Punk style\, classic rock rhythms raise up rousing choruses while fiddle and accordion tunes reminisce days gone by. Between classic pub songs\, modern Paddy Rock covers and an original or two\, Release the Craicen has something for everyone. \nWe enjoy a diverse mix of bands and their unique styles of playing. DESCRIPTION:DD & Company is Dick Danaher (accordion\, clarinet\, tenor saxophone\, vocals) and Nick Jordan (guitar\, vocals\, tinwhistle\, and foot percussion) and Philip Rampi (percussion). \nDick Danaher is a long-time luminary of the Twin Cities roots music scene\, on various saxophones and accordion\, most recently with Dan Newton and the late and great Rockin’ Pinecones \nPhilip Rampi plays bass / percussion\, octave mandolin\, banjo and cello with the adventurous string band treVeld\, and with Josh Cleveland and the Cedar Street Band \nNick Jordan is a guitarist and singer with a love for many kinds of roots music; he is equally fond of sublime Swing ballads and raucous Jug-band hollers. He has been working for years in a duo with fiddler Mary DuShane of Prairie Home Companion fame. \nDD & Company play and sing Swing\, Zydeco\, Western Swing\, Old-Time Country\, Rockabilly\, and Jug-Band music\, plus the odd Tango and Irish jig. The tie that binds their music is catchy dance rhythms from many cultures\, propelled by the big voice of the accordion\, jazzy solos on clarinet and sax\, the rich tones of an electric archtop guitar of fine vintage\, fierce double percussion from a small drum kit and relentless foot percussion in the French Canadian style.
