Singer-songwriter Sammie Jean Cohen was born and raised in Minneapolis. She brings an outlaw country but yet bluesy folk sound to the stage. She was inspired by a wide variety of music growing up like Etta James, and The Eagles being two of them. Her goals are writing unfinished songs and getting some recordings out and one day dreams of opening for The Heartless Bastards.
