Poet, singer and songwriter Liz Collin, better known as Ruby Blu, an unabashed feminist, loves rock & roll, roots music and playing old guitars.
Growing up in Bismarck, North Dakota, Ruby got her start playing guitar when her mom enrolled her and her twin sister in guitar lessons at age 9. She was hooked and by the time she was 14, she was playing Jimi Hendrix tunes in her bedroom and memorizing Muddy Waters blues licks.
