Joseph Eric Smith, passed peacefully in his sleep Wednesday night July 31st, 2019.
Musician, bandmate, friend Joseph was skilled in a multitude of instruments, who brought joy to everyone who heard him sing and play. He led a fulfilling life of historic theater performing in Clan Tartan, Historic fort Snelling and the Minnesota renaissance festival. He toured in Irish bands playing his beloved Irish music and his own original songs and tunes.
Born in Cedar Rapids Iowa, Joe graduated from Duluth East high school. Son of David and Nancy Smith, Joseph is survived by father David and sister Kathryn. Preceded in death by mother Nancy.
A memorial service and wake will be held for Joseph, October 12th 2-6 at the Dubliner Irish pub in St. Paul MN
