Celebrating St. Brigid’s Day

at the Dubliner

Wednesday, Feb 1 · 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Irish Network Minnesota for our 1st Annual St. Brigid’s Day gathering and presentation.

Saint Brigid of Kildare is the patroness saint of Ireland, associated with poetry, fertility, protection and healing.

Gather with IN-MN as we honor her on St. Brigid’s feast day, February 1st. St Brigid’s Day has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc, marking the beginning of spring.

In 2023 the Irish government declared St. Brigid’s Day a public holiday In the Republic of Ireland, the first named after a woman and an opportunity to recognize the role of women through our arts and cultural heritage.
