Bonnie Drunken Lad. A group of 4 men of questionable celtic heritage with an interest in traditional and modern Irish drinking songs, war anthems, historical oddities, sea shanties, and anything Luke Kelly sings. Fronted by Jesse Freeman and Zach Benson (who combined have done time playing in metal bands, rockabilly, backing up country singers, pop cover bands, elementary school string orchestras, funk combo’s, and somehow they’ve ended up doing irish folk?!), and supported by newcomers Ryan Reding and Will Dapper (who has an awesome name). They practice in a shack in Apple Valley, MN. Four guys, one Bonnie Drunken Lad.
